Malayalee Engineers Association in North America (MEANA) was formally established in 1992 with the help of a few Malayalee Engineers in the Chicago area. The objective of the association is to bring all Malayalee engineers under one umbrella organization and to work together in promoting cultural interaction and professional development of it’s members through technical meetings, networking, information sharing etc. The other objective is to help our native state of Kerala through information transfer programs to support engineering projects in Kerala, scholarship programs to promote engineering education and so forth.
MEANA also provides an excellent avenue to network with fellow Malayalee engineers through technical seminars, banquets, picnics and other social activities.
MEANA has recently started expanding its network via chapters established in various states across the United States, Florida being the first.
The new office bearers (2017-18) will be sworn in on February 25th at the General Body Meeting to be held in the evening starting 5:30 at the White Eagle Owners Club House, 4265 White Eagle Drive, Naperville, IL.
