MEANA’s core purpose is to foster technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity at large with special focus on the Malayalee diaspora across North America.
MEANA will be essential to the Malayaleee Engineering community in North America and be universally recognized for the contributions of Malayalee Engineering professionals of North America in improving global conditions.
MEANA brings engineers of Malayalee origin to share our common interests, values and experiences and is involved in many activities for the betterment of society. Some of the prominent activities are Project-1000, a scholarship program to support engineering education in home state Kerala and Project Homeland, a project to enable Malayalee Engineers in the USA to help addressing problems in Kerala from an engineering perspective. MEANA confers an yearly award named ‘Malayalee Engineer of the Year’ to honor outstanding performances in the field of Engineering.
Besides hosting technical seminars throughout the year, MEANA family meets on various occasions like the annual picnic and annual banquet.
