DESCRIPTION:It is with great pleasure that we announce Dr. Beena Sukumaran as the recipient of the MEANA Engineer of the Year Award 2026. \nDr. Beena Sukumaran is the Dinesh & Ila Paliwal Dean of the College of Engineering and Computing at Miami University and an accomplished civil engineer\, educator\, researcher\, and academic leader. She holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and has made outstanding contributions to engineering education\, research\, leadership\, and the advancement of the engineering profession. She is also a proud alumna of the College of Engineering Trivandrum (CET). \nOn behalf of MEANA\, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Beena on this prestigious and well-deserved recognition. We look forward to honoring and celebrating her achievement at the MEANA Annual Banquet on November 7\, 2026. \nWe also extend our sincere appreciation to Engineer of the Year Selection Committee Chair Sabu Thomas and committee members Tony C.
