Mr. Sabu Thomas is an accomplished Information Technology Management Professional and the Founder/CEO of i-medIT Technology Solutions. i-medIT Technology Solutions, under his expert leadership, has been providing enterprise-level IT practices and solutions to healthcare-focused businesses, as well as small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in the Chicagoland area.
Mr. Thomas holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago, a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix.
He has been an active member of the Malayalee Engineers’ Association in North America (MEANA) since its inception in 1992. Serving in various roles, he led the organization as president in 2009 and 2010. One of the significant accomplishments under his leadership was the submission of a memorandum to the Prime Minister of India, advocating against the export of E-Waste to India, a practice that has been deemed illegal.
As a fundraiser convener for MEANA’s scholarship program in 2004, Mr. Thomas was instrumental in raising $54,000, further emphasizing his commitment to the organization and its mission.
