Malayalee Engineers Association in North America (MEANA) was formally established in 1992 with the help of a few Malayalee Engineers in the Chicago area. The objective of the association is to bring all Malayalee engineers under one umbrella organization and to work together in promoting cultural interaction and professional development of it’s members through technical meetings, networking, information sharing etc. The other objective is to help our native state of Kerala through information transfer programs to support engineering projects in Kerala, scholarship programs to promote engineering education and so forth.
