Our own Kerala, Gods Own Country has been hit with natural calamity that has not been witnessed in nearly a century.

The 2018 catastrophic floods is a result of unusually severe Southwest monsoon that lashed the state for several days. Over 300 people lost their life and thousands were displaced according to Indian officials due to the heavy storms, landslides and overflowing reservoirs. Many more people including women, children and senior citizens have been lodged in various relief camps across 14 districts in the state.

Today Kerala requires all the help it can get to overcome this devastating floods considered the worst in 100 years.

Malayalee Engineers Association of North America (MEANA) has initiated this Fund Raising program to help Kerala Flood Disaster Relief. MEANA is a non-profit charitable organization with 501(c)3 status for tax exemption. Please contribute generously to help Kerala and also pray for those who are struggling.

Our goal is to donate all the funds to Kerala Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund and other non-profit organizations doing relief work in Kerala.

We remain much obliged to your kindness and support!!!
