MEANA’s core purpose is to foster technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity, with a special focus on the Malayalee diaspora across North America.

Our Vision

MEANA aspires to be an essential organization for the Malayalee engineering community in North America and to be universally recognized for the contributions of Malayalee engineering professionals in improving global conditions.

Our Activities

MEANA brings together engineers of Malayalee origin to share common interests, values, and experiences, while actively contributing to the betterment of society.

Some of our key initiatives include:

  • Project-1000: A scholarship program that supports engineering education in our home state of Kerala.
  • Project Homeland: An initiative that enables Malayalee engineers in North America to help address challenges in Kerala from an engineering perspective.
  • Malayalee Engineer of the Year Award: An annual recognition honoring outstanding achievements and contributions in the field of engineering.

In addition, MEANA organizes a variety of programs and events throughout the year, including:

  • Technical seminars and knowledge-sharing sessions
  • Networking and professional development events
  • Community and cultural gatherings such as the annual picnic and annual banquet
