Mathew Daniel
Mathew Daniel currently serves as President and Global Head of the Banking and Financial Services Business Division of IBM Corporation. Mathew has the overall global responsibility for running the entire business division and is also a key member of the IBM Senior Management Leadership Team in determining the strategic growth of the organization Prior to joining IBM Corporation Mathew was holding the position of Senior Vice President and Global Head of the Retail and Consumer Products Group Business Unit at Tech Mahindra Americas Inc/Satyam Computer Services Ltd. Mathew has also served in senior roles with HCL Technologies Americas Inc, Lucent Technologies Inc and Xerox Corporation. Mathew is a leading Sales and Marketing Leader who has more than 36 years of global work experience and has worked in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific Regions.
Mathew is a graduate of TKM College of Engineering, Kollam (1977-1982) under the University of Kerala with a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has two MBA Degrees, one from London Business School and the second from the prestigious Harvard Business School. Mathew is currently pursuing his Ph.D. program in Marketing Management and Client Acquisition Techniques from Kellogg School of Management in Chicago.

Reji Tharakan
Reji Tharakan received his B. Tech (in ECE) from North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology, Arunachal Pradesh. He is from Charummood, Kerala and has been living in Chicago area since 2000. He worked in Delhi as an R&D Engineer before moving to the US. He is currently employed with Comcast as Divisional Vice President of Engineering for their Central Division. His areas of focus include Network Engineering and deployment, Network Capacity, Distributed Access Technologies and Network Virtualization.
Reji is married to Lisa Tharakan and lives with their two children in the Chicagoland area. In addition to MEANA, he serves on the board of Metropolitan Family Services (DuPage) and is an active member of St. Thomas Mar Thoma Church of Chicago. Reji enjoys travel and spending time with his family.
Vinod Neelakantan
Vinod Neelakantan currently serves as Vice President, Corporate Development for CTS Corporation based in Lisle, IL. He has overall responsibility for leading the strategic planning process and the development and execution of the company-wide Mergers and Acquisitions.
Vinod’s most recent role prior to joining CTS was with Sysmex where he was responsible for leading the strategic revenue generation team and driving the financial planning and analysis function for the company. He also held Finance and Corporate Development roles in companies like Schneider Electric and Littelfuse. He has extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, business analytics, strategic planning and all aspects of business development and merger and acquisitions. Vinod spend the first 11 years of his career in Cognizant Technology Solutions in multiple global consulting and management roles.
Vinod is a graduate of College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram (1992-96) with a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering. He has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in Finance and Strategy.
Vinod served as the President of MEANA during 2017-2018. Under his leadership, MEANA organized successful fundraising campaign for Kerala Flood victims and raised over $18,000 directly assisting 60+ families in Kerala.
Sabu Thomas
Sabu Thomas is an IT Management Professional and is the Founder/CEO of i-medIT Technology Solutions. i-medIT Technology Solutions provides enterprise-level IT practices and solutions to healthcare-focused businesses as well as small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in the Chicagoland area.
Sabu received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago and M.S. in Computer Science from Illinois Institute of Technology. He also received an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix.
Sabu has been actively involved with MEANA since its inception in 1992. He held various positions during this time and led the organization as president in 2009 and 2010.
Under Sabu’s leadership, MEANA submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister of India (via Mr. Ashok Kumar Atri, the consul General of India) regarding the export of E-Waste to India and to ban this illegal activity.
Also, when MEANA conducted a fundraiser for the scholarship program in 2004, Sabu was the fundraiser convener and was able to raise $54,000.
